Phonjex Oxygen Destainer Powder is an oxidizing-based stain remover offering gentle whitening, and is less likely to damage the surface of utensils. It is suitable for cleaning stubborn stains on tableware such as porcelain and cups.

Perfect for items that cannot go through the dishwasher or require pre-soak treatment. Particularly effective on coffee cups, tea mugs, and serving ware that accumulate tannin stains over time.

Usage Instructions

Soak Method (Recommended)

Fill sink or container with hot water (50-70°C)
Add powder at 0.5-1.0% concentration (5-10g per liter)
Stir until completely dissolved
Submerge stained items
Soak for 30 minutes to overnight
Rinse thoroughly with clean water

For Light Stains

30-60 minutes soak is usually sufficient
Hot water increases effectiveness

For Heavy Stains

Use higher concentration (1.0-1.5%)
Use hottest water available (70-80°C)
Extend soak time to several hours or overnight
For very stubborn stains, scrub gently with soft brush after soaking
Repeat if necessary

This product is designed for soak treatment rather than dishwasher use. For dishwasher application, use our Commercial Liquid Dishmachine Detergent in combination with the Rinse Aid for best results.

Generally safe, but we recommend testing on a small, inconspicuous area first. Some hand-painted or gold-trimmed items may be sensitive to oxygen bleaching.

How long does it take to work?

Light stains typically disappear within 30-60 minutes. Heavy stains may require several hours or overnight soaking. Warmer water speeds up the process.

Does it damage surfaces?

No, oxygen bleaching is much gentler than chlorine bleach. It breaks down stain molecules without attacking the underlying surface. Safe on porcelain, glass, ceramic, and stainless steel.
